Even As We Speak is an ongoing project by artist Jeffrey Baykal-Rollins, reflecting upon the epidemic of gun-violence throughout the United States today. Combining images and texts from gravestone rubbings made in communities particularly affected by gun-violence, the artist creates multimedia paintings interweaving a densely-layered visual language of loss.
