They sit there nonchalantly. They have for years. Sometimes they swap places to ease the monotony or ease the cramps. When that happens, they can be seen conversing, but no one notices. This happened once when an onlooker paused. They had to "freeze" their positions for quite a while and had sore necks for weeks. The downside of the profession. However, upside is, they are usually inside and cleaned, whereby, outside they would be ignored and peed on by dogs.
