Motto: “I wish my works to stand in parks and public gardens, children play over them, as they played over some stones or monuments born from the earth, no one to know what they are and who made them – but everyone to feel the need of them and their friendship, as something which is part of the Nature soul.” Constantin Brâncusi Glass, for me, is a unique, fascinating material, full of contradictions and with unlimited possibilities of visual and tactile expression. Relationship with this material with unusual valences appeared, like all beautiful stories, in a random way. In the beginning existed a strange feeling, a mixture of fear of the unknown and also a great deal of curiosity about the finality approach. I followed sometimes tortuous path, sometimes confident and smooth, but always enthusiastic search of attempts. And ... constant new experiments. Along with conducting experiments, glass revealed his creative new resources. For me, working with glass is a journey of enrichment of the soul and a way of learning by discovery. The apparent fragility of the glass highlights the language of spontaneity, fluidity in to fill the new space with volume sometimes slightly curved, sometimes with sudden changes of direction, strong, consisting of fragments of glass suspended in a new universe recreated under the action of heat and surprise factor. And same time appears ineffable feeling of any experiences with heat-treated glass. Games of lines, of color and texture, translated into new forms of spatial manifestation of the glass give each experiment a dimension sometimes quietly, sometimes wild, to express a new appearance of glass. The idea behind my work is that in every situation, the limitations can inspire harmonious communion with environment. All is about flexibility, creativity and trust to open up new perspectives. I believe that creativity is the main quality of nature. I want my artwork to be an invitation for viewers to discover that humans have the capacity for self growing and inner power to turn dreams into reality. Each piece of glass has a unique experience told as a result of the combination of the process and the factor "random". My artwork explores the complex relationship between light, texture, shape and color leading to visual metaphors in glass. All my works are meant to be invitations to the viewer to create their own visual experiences and their own dreams.
