My passion for art was ignited by a visual experience I had as a young child. I awoke one morning fixated on a random scratch on the headboard of my bed. The shape of the scratch looked familiar to me, but I couldn't quite place it. After pondering the scratch for a while, it suddenly morphed into the outline of a fireman's helmet. From that point on, I've viewed all art as symbols - the meaning of which is as unique as each viewer. Hand-drawn portraits are my favorite art form. Facial expressions are a powerful form of communication. I hope you, your family, and your friends derive as much enjoyment from my drawings as I do while creating them.
