Henry David Thoreau's Consciousness: How best can you analyze society and its accumulation of noise while immersed within it? Many of Thoreau's revered perceptions were formed in the silence of nature as he built a small cabin in the woods, lived in absolute minimalism, created and grew his food, and reflected on society from afar as to better live within it, as a mindfully wealthy man.
