I am a plastic designer (Painter, Sculptor, Graphic designer, Photographer) My name is Olivier ANICET, my visual signature is "aNICET" in the style of a Japanese Hanko monogram. I practice my profession since 1996, I exhibit in several galleries. I live in the province of France near La Rochelle; I chose to take a step back to give myself time to look and sometimes to find (some things that the banal daily life). To work, I mainly use wax and oil chalk in the form of sticks, as well as all forms of pencils: the shortest way from muscles to the different supports. The flow of my work gives the feeling that it was produced by different artists. It is a way to stimulate myself, to awaken the intellect through various creations. Thanks to my training in graphic arts, I was able to understand that I should not systematically lock myself into a stylistic form and that I could seize the different supports that innovations produce, reinventing myself is also a constant quest to find solutions. Often the idea comes to me as I do, I am the spectator of the work that is born. My works concern : Painting, series of collages of old catalogs, themes of Parisian buildings, characters in action, painted wooden sculptures, photographs, and installations, hence the qualifier plastician. In parallel to the production that I ensure for the galleries where I exhibit, I am currently working on new works: abstracts, and also considering a typographic and figurative series on the theme of jazz "We Love Jazz".
