I look at it and I see a woman who keeps to herself, a shy spirit with so much love to give and, yet, so much to keep to oneself. She is keen on keeping safe her body and her mind. She does not allow the entire world to see her struggles. She hides behind her dark cloak, preserving her beauty and keeping her heart out of harm’s way; just the same way a hyacinth emerges from such a bundle of leaves meant to protect its fragile blossoms. Spring is paramount to her. She appears to me as a Geisha, wandering this world with care; she is defined by the sensibility she carries herself with."
