My name is Maria Pesotskaya, I am 32 years old, five of which I am engaged in painting. I live in St. Petersburg - in a city that seems to be created for creativity. I always dreamed of drawing, as a child I put cartoons on pause, and looking at the screen I redraw the characters. Then I graduated from art school, where I was convinced that drawing is not my thing, since there is no talent at all. I came home after graduation, threw out all the paint and brushes, and kind of put an end to this story for myself. ⠀ Later, when I tried other creative professions, I realized that I chose them because I couldn't draw, and not because I really liked them, as if I were compensating for the emptiness that had arisen. Then I got tired of doing sublimation and promised to give myself another chance at drawing. That moment on, my life was completely turned upside down! There were victories in major competitions, work on magazines and books, international contracts and exhibitions! But most importantly, I found myself and began to do what I really love!
