BIO - Francesco Altomare Francesco Altomare was born in San Giovanni in Fiore in 1991. In 2010 he graduated as a surveyor at the I.T.G. "Salvatore Quasimodo" (CS). A completely wrong path, which he immediately set aside to devote himself to his great passion, which he has cultivated since the age of 5; DRAWING. The first approach to drawing was instilled in him by the superheroes of comics. From these, in a completely self-taught way, he learns to create the bodies and faces of the human being. Towards the age of 18 he decides to devote himself more specifically and professionally to PORTRAIT, (Pencil on paper). Gradually through the internet he discovers the genre of hyperrealism. The art of reproducing a photograph, manually, as faithfully as possible. He was immediately fascinated by this genre, and realized that this was the final piece of his artistic career. THE HYPERREALIST FACES. Through studies and learning from various masters of hyperrealism, he refines his technique over time. Which leads him to become a photographer as well. Then he decides to start exhibiting his works, through art exhibitions, winning competitions and receiving numerous awards.
