My painting often reflex in inner struggle between mania and depression, and the turmoil my mental illness causes. I paint mummies because I fear them and yet see the dark beauty of someone preserved from the ravages of time. My art is the dichotomy the darkest of human emotion and a strong desire to touch the beauty of the sunset.
