ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of my older ones (Utrecht-periode). A vinted. You can see by the paper that it is an older one. I love the Looking at the shapes and contrast of the image, I make a translation with my personal touch. I love letting the material speak and collaborating with my own strength and fluidity. With charcoal (in various forms), I can freely express what I see. I love that my vibrancy, energy and inquisitive gaze are evident in this drawing. Later I made a follow up of this serie. You can see there is an other energy in both series. We cannot hide time. Both are good.
