About The Artwork
This drawing was made just before they were knocked down for a new road. I was so glad i got to make a drawing of their , Presence , before this happened. The Hawthorn were bending and weaving together as if in a dance with the wind, standing in a bleak field. So i call this , The Last Dance. I was very sad to witness the disappearance of these magestic trees, Maugheraboy, Co Sligo. I wish to express their dance.
