Gevorg Sargsyan /Djala/ born in 1958 Gyumri, Armenia. Gevorg Sargsyan, better known as "Djala" is an important representative of the old generation of Armenian contemporary art scene. He teaches as well as paints and serves as an inspiration to many of the new generation's painters in Gyumri. He is the founder of the “15/3” Gjumri’s modern art group. Since 2002 he is teaching at the Gyumri Academy of Fine Arts.
