Lotus was inspired by the 1920s, Erté, romance, and love. I wanted Lotus to have a romantic, dreamy feel. The lines are organic and flowing like nature and life. She is dreaming about long lost love and new love to find. In dreams everything is a possibility.

I am a multi-media artist from Oro Valley, Arizona. I graduated from Texas Woman's University in spring of 1992 with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. I also have a Master’s in Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University. My art work is an ongoing exploration of life and the world which surrounds me. I have always been fascinated with finding new ways of depicting emotions and moods through my use of line, movement, and texture. Creating art work is like a puzzle that I am constantly trying to solve.
