Art Description

Drawing: Ink, Ballpoint Pen, Marker, Airbrush, Oil on Paper.

The work is one of the triptych, drawn from life in the city of Lviv (Ukraine). The works are based on a reflection on the architecture of the old city and its content. Many old cities are united by one feature which we often don’t pay attention to. The wires. They are everywhere, in the city centre and outskirts, near the cathedrals and in the yards. I have noticed that the wires create an interesting composition and become a part of the urban landscape. Time flies and very likely that they will be removed soon and the city will be looking differently, the city will change its identity. This work is about moments capturing and old city details inspiration.
