The Melodic Minor series is a group of works about the growth of a lush, exotic and dense environment filled with abstracted hints from gardens and woods. As if I am creating a fluid and expressive kind of nature that thrives in a contemporary urban world. I have taken shapes from the leaves, flowers and trees around me and blended them with visual 'musical tones' that are moody, romantic and emotional.
