Monstruo Nocturno Drawing

My work explores the emotional and relational dynamics between humans and ourselves. Rooted in abstract painting and black linework, I delve into the complex layers of human connection, self-reflection, and the essence of our shared existence. Through large-scale compositions, I seek to capture the fluid nature of our emotions, how we perceive ourselves, and the different versions of who we are. My process is deeply intuitive, beginning with freehand ink drawings where the movement of the body and the materials dictate the flow of the piece. As the work progresses, I engage in a dialogue with the forms, discovering abstract characters and narratives that speak to memories and emotional experiences. This organic evolution reflects my belief that, although we all walk different paths, we are bound by a shared humanity that encompasses creativity, chaos, peace, and pain. Each piece invites personal interpretation, with no fixed meaning, allowing the viewer to engage with the work on their own terms. For me, art is an experience that unlocks the soul and mind, offering new perspectives on reality.
