About The Artwork
A lot of insects migrate using cloud and wind patterns. I was observing the clouds from the safety of my home, clouds rising high and being low enough to be next to me while a Moth sat on this piece of paper. I drew it with my ink brush and let it stay there. As if it were waiting for the clouds to pass, so it could hop on one. Ink along with handmade paper has been used in this work, the handmade paper is of good quality and has great texture. I will be attaching a close up image of the paper. I really love working on these papers, it makes the room smell nice. This work is a continuation from the IG series 'It Rains Only Over Some'
