Şükran was born in the village of Aktepe in the Pazar district of Rize. She completed her secondary education in Trabzon, completed her undergraduate education in 1997 and her graduate education in 2016. Since 2001, she has been working as a Visual Arts Teacher at Trabzon Anatolian Fine Arts High School. She is also currently serving as the president of the Femin & Art Women Artists Association, which she founded in 2007 and has representation in 30 countries and 10 has branches. She took an active role in the efforts made to protect the rights of women and girls. She brought together artists and the public with 25-30 artists from various countries each year at the 12 international art festivals she organized. She was involved in the preparation of the curriculum for the "Three-Dimensional Art Education" course taught in Anatolian Fine Arts High Schools and contributed to the writing of these three books. She is one of the authors of the books "Women in Ottoman Istanbul" and "Women in Republican Istanbul" published by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Şükran has 3 published books; -"Dokun" (Touch), is about art education, -"Yaşanabilir Kentler" (Liveable Cities), is a compilation of her writings that guide local administrations, -"Türk Toplumunda Sosyal Hayata Kadının Yeri 1900-2015" (The Place of Women in Social Life in Turkish Society 1900-2015), is an academic book on women artist in social life. She is a member of the Trabzon Writers Association. Şükran's aim is to popularize and promote art in society, encourage women, and to call attention in violence against women to stop it. She is married, a mother of one and grandmother of one. Awards: -National Cartoon and Satire Contest degrees -"Atlar Wonderful World" 2011 finals, Russian Rostov State Museum and Ministry of Culture Finalist Award -Russian Federation of Painters Union, Russia Art Ambassador Award -Ural State University Art Popularization and Support, Ural Art Ambassador Award -Ukraine Art Academy, 2021 Artist of the Year Award
