VIEW IN MY ROOM
There is a custom in Japan called "Hanami". It is enjoying the beautiful but ephemeral blossoms in spring. This tree is one of the trees in Akashi Castle Park in Kobe city where I went there for Hanami. This is my way of enjoying them. Beautiful but ephemeral. Watercolor and pencil on Wirgman paper, 350g, coated with fixative.

I was born in Iran and currently living in Japan. I mostly work on 3 collections: 1- Trees: black and white trees, usually ink on paper. 2- Daily Life: mostly still life drawings of my daily life objects, colored pencil on paper. 3- Acrylic paintings on canvas, still life and landscape. I am interested in painting ordinary things with potential beauty in their either concept, form or color. I would like to create a moment of beauty and persuade people to see the beauty in mundane things. for more artworks please visit my website: www.sedighehzoghi.com
