About The Artwork
The inspiration for this work was initially the pleasing "flower-petal" arrangement with a small coffee table and four stackable chairs which became a manifest for the Covid Lockdown signalling that ordinary social life was temporarily on hold with a promise to re-open but that at the moment there were No Reservations: also the term signals a call for bravery and resoluteness, without reservations. The work is currently displayed as part of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021, I hope viewers gain insight into the temporary obstacles in life that inspire change, progress and a happy equilibrium.
