About The Artwork

Mounted on paper, ready for framing (Allow 2-3 extra weeks for professional mounting by artisan. See note below.) Unframed Double Xuan paper (2-ply) used in my painting is: handmade, cream-colored, fine textured, approximately 51GSM. Reinvent Chinese Abstract through the expression of Chi(氣) ,"energy force" ,evolved from the music of Beethoven; using ink and color on Xuan paper. Calligraphy is inspired by the Eastern philosophy of "The Fullness of Emptiness" in Heart Sutra. Beethoven overcame his deafness to embrace the world with wisdom, compassion and humanity; liberated himself from sufferings. These qualities of awakened mind resonated with the wisdom of Buddhism stated in the "Heart Sutra". The attainment of the "Fullness of Emptiness". Please feel free to email ofu@odiliafu.com with questions on paper mounting. My artisan has 30+ years' experience whose clients include top auction houses.
