About The Artwork

The satyr's mask is depicted as an observing face. Despite the fact that the character of the satyr is dissolute and voluptuous, his image is portrayed more like the figure of an old man watching the beholder. The satyr became as a figure who is displaying wisdom and fortitude, convincing confidence. The satyr is depicted against a background of Greek decorations, emphasizing his relationship to cultural traditions.

I was born in Kiev, began to draw from childhood. Have received my first creative approval by winning the children's drawing competition at the age of 3. Since then I have been drawing constantly, and recently drawing and painting have become my main activity. Throughout the entire time I have tried to work in different styles and techniques and more and more inclined towards figurative art. I think that an artist is someone who is in constant search, who is looking for answers to his questions, and does not always feel satisfaction from some of the answers. I consider myself as an inquisitive artist who scrupulously observes the environment and discovers new streams of inspiration. For me, art is a transdisciplinary field that requires full dedication and continuous study. Art intersects with history, philosophy and literature, and these areas of knowledge help the artist to enrich his intellectual and creative stock. The flow of energy and creativity in me intensifies through cognition when I observe objects and people, or immerse myself in literary works. I consider it necessary for myself to study the biography of the masters, how they lived and worked, and this is in addition to constantly looking at masterpieces. I believe that the artist evolves along the entire creative path, looks for objects of inspiration, tries new materials and works in several directions until he finds his own recognizable character.
