OldMan from Rajasthan Drawing

My favourite subject are animals and human portraits. Each face has it's own personality and it's a great pleasure to me to explore the different characters. I'm painting and drawing since thirty years and I prefer a naturalistic style. The details and fine little things that creates impression of a face are in the middle of my focus. Very carefully I try to interpretate with colours and lines. It's not just photorealism that I'm interested in, I would like to show the "real" soul. Jedes Tier oder jeder Mensch hat seinen individuellen Charme und es macht mir große Freude, diese Vielfältigkeit immer wieder auf's Neue auf die Leinwand zu bringen. Ich male und zeichne seit 30 Jahren, vorwiegend auf naturalistische Weise. Dabei bin ich ein guter Beobachter und achte sehr auf die Feinheiten, die ein Gesicht oder einen Ausdruck ausmachen.
