ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Pedro Calderón de la Barca y Barreda González de Henao Ruiz de Blasco y Riaño (17 January 1600 – 25 May 1681), usually referred to as Pedro Calderón de la Barca, was a dramatist, poet, writer, and a knight of the Order of Santiago, known primarily for being one of the most distinguished Baroque writers of the Spanish Golden Age, especially for its theater. During certain periods of his life, he served as a soldier and a Roman Catholic priest. Born when the Spanish Golden Age theatre was being defined by Lope de Vega, he developed it further, his work being regarded as the culmination of the Spanish Baroque theatre. As such, he is regarded as one of Spain's foremost dramatists and one of the finest playwrights of world literature. This unique work is included in my first book "Pipe Ace: Learning from a Sketch", sold worldwide. Statement: As a young mind, I am in the middle of two subjects: my existence and my learning path. My art right now is the first bullet point of, hopefully, many to come. The paintings and drawings I work on focus on me getting better but especially on delivering a clear message through iconography. My existence and consciousness are the main subjects of my current work. It is the best starting point since most or all of us start our adulthood wondering the same questions; Why are we here? What comes next? And where do I stand in all of this? My views on this are drawn, written, and painted.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

As an almost young mind, I am in the middle of two subjects: tales that inspire me and my learning path that is never ending. My art right now is the first bullet point of, hopefully, many to come. The collages and illustrations I work on focus on people and society as a whole, but specially in delivering a clear message through iconography. The stories and consciousness of inspiring individuals are the main subjects of my current work. I've always loved reading biographies and mixing them with the pieces I produce, is intended as a tribute to the people portrayed.
