ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In a figure-drawing class, one is typically challenged with trying to capture a subject's shape, size, form, and other physical attributes. However, as an artist, I always try to capture my subject's "Body-Language" and the mood that is transmitted from it. Here, this lovely girl exudes a "Pensive" mood - perhaps she is thinking about a recent relationship that has suddenly become extinct. This drawing is "Ready To Hang" - medium grey mat, and black metal frame with clear glass. 22" x 28" with mat & frame.
