Polarization (changing sides) Drawing

I use the principle of mirroring in several of my artworks. The series about the wolf and the rabbit use an asymmetrical mirroring of the victim and its aggressor. Their relation assumes position of stagnation with does not allow progress neither regress of the implied conflict. The situation is complemented with a graph – the outcome of the scientific research presenting dynamics of the generational development of wolves and rabbits in one territory. As the wolf population rises, the rabbit population decreases and after critical shortage of food the situation changes and the rabbit population increases, accompanied by the decline of the wolf population. This model aims to thoughts about the identity of an individual, his effort to find recognition in liberal democracy and to thoughts about wider social system and social dynamics fuelled and unified by the presence of an enemy (a real or fictious one).
