Art Description

Drawing: Ink, Gouache, Acrylic, Pencil, Watercolor on Paper, Other.

Curatorial Text: The intricate plastic universes of Martín Marro seem to ignore the silence. Landscapes populated by buildings, plants, animals, planes and communication networks make up a battlefield where tight and precarious equilibria are negotiated. He adds a concern for habitable environments, urban dynamics, ecological balance and sustainable life, which is projected strongly as a question to the viewer. Despite being absent, human beings are the true protagonists of their works. In them, contemplation does not prevail but a certain eloquence that transforms the image into a fertile ground for consciousness and reflection.
