About The Artwork
The death of the beautiful princess inspired in me, as it did many others, great loss and sadness. With this illustration I wanted to remember Diana in a peaceful, comfortable and "real" position; so that the average person could relate to her carefree and fun side. Twenty years have gone by, and yet she is still revered - loved!

I am a 97-year-old man, and to that end I have a copious amount of original art work. I have worked in pastel, colored pencil and many other genres. Unfortunately I can no longer enjoy my favorite pastime. I can't hear, can't see too good and cannot work with what I have loved to do since I was 12 years old. I am a self-taught portrait artist, and have many pictures of celebrities, sports favorites, even an entire collection of black and white pencil drawings depicting the Vietnam War.
