Art Description

Drawing: Pencil on Other.

My name is Steve Moors. I’m a British/American fine artist based in New York and LA. My work has been exhibited in the U.S.A, Europe, Israel, and the U.K.(The Victoria & Albert Museum). Over the years I’ve been interviewed and showcased in several art magazines. I work with residential and corporate clients, collectors and curators. My work has an organic appearance, yet it is in fact rendered digitally.

The motivation for my art is driven by my fascination with the incongruities and conflicting self-deceptions created by the struggle between our primal and present modern selves. This confluence of evolutionary insistence maps the ways in which we all navigate our window of time.

The work is printed as as Acrylic Face Mount Print. Which is a glossy print mounted face-in to acrylic, giving a depth and vibrancy to the image. Plus, the addition strengthening of Black Sintra Backing. It’s then secured within a White Floater Frame. A sleek solid wood frame 5/16 wide and 1 11/16 deep with a matte white finish. The Acrylic Face Mount Print sits in the frame with a 1/4 gap between the print and the frame, creating a floating effect for the artwork. Ready to hang with hardware provided.
