About The Artwork
Rawa Hideung was inspiring me. It is located in Cianjur, Indonesia, only 25 miles from Gunung Padang, the largest megalithic site in Southeastern Asia. The swamp is located on the foot of Mt. Bubut. I hope the viewers will feel the calmness. Feel the wind create the waves on the lake swamp. Feel the nature in its raw form. I choose paper and pen because I believe that traditional drawing is perfect in its imperfect and that the feeling cannot be duplicated by any digital drawing. I choose nature with hope that people can nurture the nature and realize that we also a part of the nature. I believe that my detail drawing style distinguishes me from other artist. :-)
