The exhibition's starting point was New York. Each work from the series was drawn on my iPad. The iPad is a great medium, offering intimacy and a new kind of immediacy it brings to artists who, like me, love to draw. It is a very liberating medium. The iPad’s portability and light weight, works can be conceived and executed anywhere — a park bench, a couch in a shoe store, in the street — or wherever inspiration strikes. Essentially, it allows one to work effectively while on the move; there is no waiting for paint to dry, no inking up a plate, not even a need to sharpen pencils! You can make a drawing at two o’clock in the afternoon and send it to your printer by four PM. Details: Printed on Arches 340/gm2 Archival Paper Blind-stamped by the Artist in L.L.H.Corner.
