About The Artwork
This Mixed Media drawing was inspired by Melbourne city. The work is built upon with collage, paint, ink and pencil. It is created on Yupo Paper, which is a highly durable surface. It is based on walks (Dérives) that I took through the city. My work is inspired by Guy Debord and the 'Theory of the Dérive'. I focus on the psychology of the urban landscape. This work is an accumulation of many of journeys through Melbourne.
