I used charcoal and graphite on texture sheet. Durga is major deity in hinduism and she is created by the gods to defeat the demon mahishasura, who could be killed only by a female. she is seen as a motherly figure and often depicted as a beautiful woman, riding a lion or Tiger. Durga is depicted with 3 eyes to signify sun, moon and the fire besides the past, present and future portraying her to be the ruler of this world. The power limitless lies within one of the avatars of Durga is believed to be the power core of the sun channelling her positive energy to brighten the universe. Her legend centres around combating evils and demonic forces that threaten peace, prosperity, and dharma the power of good over evil.
