About The Artwork
Wrinkles on her face and with those cholesterol accumulation near her eyes make her face quite difficult to draw with photo-realism. This difficulty inspired me to draw her. I hope the viewers will feel her presence seeing this work. Color means her sari, white with blue borders and her skin color ... that's it ... of course without any light effect. So I thought to make it black and white with various shades. What can be better than charcoal for this black and white color? So I used charcoal and graphite.
