Scream Painting

My name is Valeria Tikhon. I am a self-taught artist, a master of abstraction and mixed media on paper. I am inspired by nature, the environment, the image and character of the hero in a unique state of the moment. With the help of my artistic practice, I try to understand and comprehend the path of a person in the context of healing. I transfer my view, experience of experience, observation through the prism of understanding the path, where the individuality of images is the main core of the scheme of development of my artistic works. One of my favorite themes is abstract landscapes. Here Is how the nature, the environment, the terrain in a unique state of the moment. I am impressed by "nature". She is free, I get many ideas from her, and she gets love for her and peace from me. Expressive abstract landscape is my statement of the idea that Nature and the world around us have answers to everything. The theme of images is especially pronounced in the series of paintings "Tarot". This is a whole story about the characters of fictional characters associated with the characters of tarot cards. Each image is collective and embodies the spirit, the definitively formulated personality, integrity, but not ideality. The inspiration to create such a series of paintings did not come by chance, thanks to my observation, observation of people from my life experience and quite a long study of different tarot cards. The main source of inspiration for me is a person. At the head is a real or collective image, what surrounds it. Before I write a story about him, tell the viewer about my character, I penetrate into the depths of his possible views and visions, into the depths of his everyday life, illusions and reality. I have been working on my visual technique for many years, studied with a master abstract artist and worked step by step on my own statement. For all the time of my work, I have released more than 500 works of art, and the most recent works are the most vivid and complete in their expression. Watercolor, acrylic, ink and oil pastels are the materials with which I achieve an amazing visual result, sometimes an expressive effect. I like to experiment, to introduce new materials into the composition without disturbing the harmony of the plot. Therefore, works can often be called original and unique.
