Shin II Drawing

This work is made as mixed media,in a very personal technique which I use for a long period of time. The style is particular for a miniature with engraving and many overlaping layers of paint. The subject is inspired by the Hebrew alphabet with it's decorative letters. I used grafism as a symbol. The colors are vibrant and the gold is used as an important part giving it a jewel like image. In my composition I use a central character wich lies between a decorative border which can be with geometrical, floral, botanical or anthropomorph motifs in order to enhance the message through decorative means.
