Sketch of bombed out St. Lo shortly after D-Day was an original freelance illustration for the 75th anniversary of D-Day for Le Monde magazine. One of the original source was a photograph of St Lo, Le Place Notre-Dame in August 1944. At the center of the Old Town is the church of Our Lady.
