About The Artwork
Quietly observing a model helps reveal an inner, calmer, honest version of that model. It makes the author a sort of authorized voyeur, an observer of the daily. The fragmented reality. With this drawing I tried to make a personal aproach to a very academic subject. The way I made it mine was through the use of my personalized marker: A canvas wedge strecher with ink. I used old, stained paper, that with time got even more weathered, gave it character. I can only hope the viewer will feel the calmness I did when I observed and made it.
