About The Artwork
I call my portrait "The Birth" which represents to me, a marvelous moment of joy and pain. This topic was unique in a way that it took me hours to find the best style that would show the moment of birth. The most difficult and important aspect of this drawing was for me to show the emotion and feeling of this beautiful stage of life. In order to keep this artwork unique, I made the frame from raw oak wood.

A self-taught artist works in a wide variety of mediums but the passion for drawing and wood carving are favorites to create one-of-a-kind art pieces. For wood carving specifically, using a variety of natural color of woods. Each individual piece of wood is cut by hand scroll saw, then all the woods come together carved by handmade tools by himself, sanded and then polished with a glossy spray to bring out the beautiful color of wood, often incorporating oyster, glass, canvas and charcoal pencil.
