About The Artwork

This sketch is one of the pictures of my bible story series. I depicted how I understand the words of Christ about the Parable of the Sower. This is a discussion of human life versus eternity, an existential consolation for all who ask themselves the question about the meaning of being. I think this is a consolation not only for believers, but also for atheists, too. Everyone is looking for the meaning of life for himself. And many find him in procreation or in any occupation that would leave our presence after us. That is why in my picture there is a symbolism of Freudian reservations. I mean symbols that mark acts of continuation of life. It is read and guessed in the subconscious of any person. And I would like to express my attitude towards life and death with these words : By throwing the grain into the ground, we are waiting for a rebirth.
