The Shaman Boy : Troublemaker Drawing

I have a recurring character named Od, who sometimes has his own pieces or appears hidden in other pieces. He is how I visualise exploration of Self and the universe. Explaining his relevance may sound deep and purposeful, but he was always the fun release I did as a doodle whilst thinking or reading and now he just won't go away. In this piece, He has taken on the role of a shaman boy-king, a troublemaker who answers to nobody, which is I feel sometimes and I guess others may do to. As much as He is a troublemaker, He is still learning hence the tetrahedrons and cubes on His wrists which represent the Trivium and Quadrivium, The 23 carat gold gilded onto the piece was to add the element of royalty and divinity, oneness with the universe with His halo off-centre to represent a wayward nature. As for the size, 8" x 8", it was an intimate piece and when I sketched it, I just wanted it to be small.
