Jessie is a landscape artist predominantly and is currently inspired to create very large format artworks continuing to explore her on going main theme of mountains being her inspiration. She is currently exploring the ideas of time, and the connection between the past, present and future. Between the Earth and nature and humanity. She considers these connections extremely important and even more so in the world's current political and environmental climate. Inspired by endlessly changing light and changing moods in the mountainous landscape, birds are a symbolism for Time. She uses a variety of mediums in one artwork. Traditionally being, charcoal, drawing ink, acrylic, graphite. On paper or un-stretched canvas. Texture is a major element of her work. She has works in private collections throughout Europe, as well as in Australia, South America and the USA.
