Art Description

Drawing: Ink, Marker on Paper.

These unexpected figures and their worlds are inspired by my interest in humanity: its' pleasure and its' pain.

I use photographs and historical artworks to create drawings that investigate the residue of humanity around and inside me. My work is a means of deep communication and a way of reconciling relationships.

This portrait uses optics, a grid and the rainbow to describe the complexity of our world. In this work, the power of reading is the metaphor. These women are armed with knowledge and this power makes them invincible.

The work is on archival paper and is ready to be framed.
