This is the third in a series of drawings based upon walking through the landscape and discovering old buildings and structures that have been left. This was a relatively new building, but the wearing away caused by the weather is starting to be seen. Nature has a habit of reclaiming its space.

Currently it is a mix of figurative and landscape, with an interest in the past, stories and mythologies. My art is influenced by many sources; old master paintings and contemporary painting, poetry, music. I have exhibited over several years and in many different places. I enjoy painting, this has always been so. This may help to explain my ever changing subject matter, as I am constantly wanting to do something that I am not.
