About The Artwork
By using tape (highly textured duct tape which is used in automotive design and development) on acrylic glass I show a very pure, graphical presentation of a street in Torino (Turin) centre. The contrast between the matt tape and the reflective glass gives an unique expression. With tape as the material and acrylic glass as my canvas, the wall behind as well as different daylight creates a 3D effect, and becomes part of the artwork.
