One of the drawings from the series about plants, inspired by the Japanese beetle (Popillia japonica) and it´s effect on plants. While destroying soft parts of the leaf, it reveals the new, hidden image of the tiny, subtle structure. This drawing has been made with pencil and ink on the white tempera stain. The overlapping forms depict the transformation of the plant.
