Slavica Markovic Born in Serbia. Graduated Art from the Higher Education Academy in Belgrade in 1983. Her works are in private collections in Serbia, Macedonia, Poland, Canada, Germany and Great Britain. Member of ULUS ( Association of Fine Artist of Serbia) and ULUPUDS (Serbian Association of Applied Arts, Artists and Designers). Slavica currently resides and creates in Belgrade as an independent artist. Slavica Markovic about her work: " Creation is an intuitive process in which the artist is only an intermediary, who using their ability to afford a work - to materialize from its own inevitability. Then it become Being for itself, greater than our knowledge, because it comes from, until then, unknowable space. The resulting work is not seduces the viewer with its aesthetic side, it has the power of awakening the current knowledge, where the creator and the observer are self-knowers".
