About The Artwork

This drawing's title goes far deeper than the name suggests.. My view of females was that they were rather predatory at the time of creating this artwork (due to experiences at that point in my life). In this artwork we have the contrast between what is perceived as 'good' and 'evil', but they are then both using their sexual prowess as a tool equally. I am glad I no longer have this view of women now that I am older, but it certainly made for a great artwork.

Sancho is autistic (Asperger's Syndrome) and this often leads to an extreme focus on particular details within his work. Sancho's work is largely executed via pencil and paper thus carrying the associations of hard labour and time spent covering the page with a sharp point. His story is an unusual one and these works could be viewed as the result or expression of great pain. Certainly, there are signs of weaponry and sharp edges cutting through the images and the variations in the chequerboard background create the effect of disorientation. Inspired by Surrealism, he makes use of silhouetted female forms to provide soft curvaceous relief.
