ABOUT THE ARTWORK
DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Pencil drawing on paper. The drawing is the result of compulsive work based on fragments of hypnagogic hallucinations that I experience just before falling asleep. I mix these visions quite automatically with semi-abstract elements balancing between what is known and what is completely strange.

Born in 1991. Lives and works in Warsaw. He works with photography and drawing as well as installation. Mozolewski seeks to develop his own language of abstract expression, creating compositions full of details from the borderline of that which is known and that which is removed from our routine mindsets. His art is centred on form and colour, in which he seeks new, unfamiliar networks of connections coming from the subconscious. His inspiration stems from hypnagogia as well as visions induced. With the help of these works I try not to present a particular feature scene, but to balance on the border of the familiar and uncertain, creating a kind of theatre of light, shape and colour. The sculptural forms / puppets used for this purpose, made of styrodur, plasticine, plaster and other similar materials, immersed in an abstract form, are designed to build a specific, strange atmosphere of the scene, cooperate with the rest of the objects, creating a semi-abstract composition. Objects, as well as entire compositions, are created under the influence of the moment, without a specific plan, semi-consciously and quite automatically.
